In January 2024, the 12-month inflation rate for food items in the United States was at 3.1 percent. That month, baby food prices increased by 8.7 percent compared to January 2023. Inflation for sugar and sweets saw an increase at 4.4 percent. On the other hand, eggs showed a decrease in price of close to 29 percent over the same period.
